It is the mountain that best symbolizes Corsica’s nickname “mountain in the sea” as this peak of almost 1,300 meters overlooks the sea. The hike takes you from the marine atmosphere of Piana to the rocky mountain abysses of the summit… In the heart of the calanches, this hike offers a view of the high peaks of the island including the Paglia Orba, the Monte Rotondo and the Monte d’Oro, but also a breathtaking panorama of the Scandola nature reserve and the Gulf of Porto
