The Agrate reserve
Description
Positive elevation: 454m / Negative elevation: 455m Level: OOOOOOO
The Agriate reserve offers those who dare to venture there grandiose landscapes, captivating sites, heavenly beaches and the intoxicating scent of the maquis! Once considered the granary of Corsica, Agriate is today a space of escape where natural and cultural riches mingle. Its landscape made of red and ocher stones combined with the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea offers a breathtaking panorama! Without forgetting the numerous vestiges left by its former occupants: the pagliaghji (stone houses which sheltered the Corsican shepherds) and the Genoese towers
