The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with in Terra Corsa, whether at www.interracorsa.com via the agency website or by telephone or otherwise:
I – BOOKING PROCEDURES
You can book an activity with in Terra Corsa by phone with our team, online via our website www.interracorsa.com or at the desk. In Terra Corsa website is a “showcase” which presents the activities and the services it offers. The photos on the website are shown as an illustration and have no contractual value.
The guest chooses the activity presented on the website and acknowledges having taken notice of the nature and the modalities of this booking. He/she acknowledges having requested and obtained the necessary a/o additional information to make his/her booking with full knowledge of the facts. The client is solely responsible for his/her choice of services and the suitability of those services for his/her needs. In Terra Corsa cannot be held responsible in this respect. The booking is deemed accepted by the client at the end of the booking process as described below.
The reservation made by the client is done via www.interracorsa.com booking engine, at the phone or at the desk. The reservation is deemed to be done upon receipt of the booking request, fully completed and with the total payment. Before any booking, the client undertakes to complete or to give the information requested for the reservation. The client certifies that the information given is true, accurate and complete.
The online booking process by includes the following steps that the client agrees to respect: choose the period of the activity ; enter the number of adult(s) a/o child(ren) ; choose one or more additional services ; verification of the booking details, the total price and the terms of sale ; make any necessary changes to the selection (activity, rate, additional services) ; enter client’s information ; enter credit card details for the payment of the activity (the website complies with the legal obligations in terms of bank data collection and storage) ; consult and accept the terms and conditions ; confirmation of the reservation by the client.
The client’s booking shall be subject of an acknowledgment of receipt by email, automatically processed and sent to the email address provided by the client. The email summarizes the activity and services reserved, the date of the activity, the number of participants (adult and child), the prices and the agency’s contact in case of requests or complaints.
The client affirms that he is of legal age (18) and has the necessary legal capacity to contract the services offered by in Terra Corsa.
II – PRICING
Our pricing will fluctuate depending on availability and demand at any given time. All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT at the current prevailing rate. Your price is guaranteed once you have been given a confirmation number.
The activity’s price includes the services indicated in the various descriptions and generally does not include:
– The journey to/from Corsica
– Transportation (excepted the transfers mentioned in the programme)
– The technical equipment porting
– Drinks and personal expenses
– The vaccination and visa costs
– The optional tours
– The phone usage
– The tips
– The fuel surcharges
– The activities not mentioned in the programme
– The civil liability insurance
– The cancellation insurance
– The equipment loss or damage
III – PAYMENT
For any booking at in Terra Corsa, payment in full is required.
Mean of payment for online bookings on www.interracorsa.com:
– Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro) via Payline or others payment service providers.
Mean of payment for bookings by phone at 0033 495 476 948:
– Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro) via distance selling with credit card numbers, name of the credit card’s owner, validity date and cryptogram. We use the Crédit Agricole’s distance selling system. Transactions are secured.
Accepted means of payment for bookings at in Terra Corsa’s desk:
– Cash (French Law does not accept payment by cash over €3000)
– Credit or debit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro)
IV – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
According to the Article L 121-20-4, 2° of the French Consumer Code, the 7-days-right of withdrawal mentioned in the Article L121.20 shall not apply to travel deals sector, accommodation and leisures services, transportation and catering.
Therefore all bookings are subject to the change and cancellation policy set out in these terms.
V – CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Bookings at in Terra Corsa are non-transferable, non-refundable and unmodifiable. Bookings are firm and definitive.
Bookings are non-refundable in case of no-show, delay, modification or interruption of the activity.
If a participant commences the activity and chooses to stop or discontinue it before completion of their courses, no refund will be given. This applies to participants who are unable to finish their chosen activity due to their own time restraints or fatigue.
In Terra Corsa reserves the right to reschedule or cancel all bookings. If a booking is cancelled by in Terra Corsa, it can be postponed to a later date, or full refund will be given.
VI – REFUNDS
Refunds are made by bank transfer or by cash in case of payments at the desk and by transaction reversal in case of payments by phone or online.
VII – TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT
According to the Articles L.211-11 and R.211-7 of the French Code of Tourism, the client may transfer the contract (excluding insurance) to a third party, provided he/she informs in Terra Corsa in writing within 7 days from the date of the activity. He/she will have to specify the name and address of the transferee and will have to justify that he/she fulfil the conditions to contract.
Insurances are non-transferable and non-refundable.
VIII – PARTICIPANT BEHAVIOR
During your activity with in Terra Corsa, it is your responsibility to ensure that you or one of your group members do not behave inappropriately. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or one of your group members do not behave in a way that could jeopardize, torment, injure or affect others or that could damage someone’s property (including drunkenness and aggressive behavior).
In the event that your behavior seems to be inappropriate to us and could jeopardize, torment, injure or affect others or that could damage someone’s property, we shall be obliged to take appropriate measures in order to ensure the security and comfort of our clients and their property. Such measures may include stopping your activity. In that case, our obligations to you will stop immediately and you will not be able to obtain any refunds or indemnities. In addition, you would be required to reimburse the costs related to that termination.
IX – INSURANCES
We have taken out professional liability insurance with Allianz Assurances group, Jean-Luc Guidicelli, 11Bis boulevard du Fango, BP261, 20296 Bastia, policy n° 46794036
However, we advise you to have your own civil liability insurance a/o to take out additional insurance such as multi-risk, cancellation or repatriation ones.
We also remind you that some credit or debit cards include these types of insurances when paying. Contact your bank for more information.
X – COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS
Any verbal notification must be put in writing. If you remain dissatisfied, you must write to in Terra Corsa, within 30 days of the end of your activity, giving your booking reference and full details of your complaint. We strongly advise you to make your complaint or comment in the first instance to the agency’s manager at the time of your activity so that it can be resolved at the time. Any situation that may arise shall be resolved by the Bastia Commercial Court.
XI – DATA PRIVACY
According to the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have rights to request access to your personal data, to request correction of the personal data and to request erasure of your personal data.
